Nestling where the sky meets the earth, Chamois is a small pearl of the Valtournenche valley. Situated opposite the Matterhorn, it is framed by marvellous mountains and surrounded by woods and green meadows, at an altitude of over 1,815 meters. There are ski slopes and paths for snow trekking, affording breathtaking views, and summer walks in the nearby woods and valleys.

You can only get there by cable car, bicycle, on foot or a light plane, thanks to the only mountain landing strip of Aosta Valley, which was the first ever built in Italy (1967). It is an extraordinary place where time stands still and you can surrender to nature, to the wide-open spaces and to the emotions they provoke.
